Leadership over Lunch: Financial Literacy

Each Leadership Lunch begins with a meal and fellowship among pastors and staff members. The second hour is an intensive, information-filled session with a bit of time for Q & A. Lunch and the workshop is $15; but, if you prefer to bring a brown bag and a drink, the cost is $10. All Leadership over Lunch sessions are from 12-2pm.

Financial Literacy:

If you would like a primer on basic accounting issues such as:

  • designing a process for budget preparation
  • determining the level of cash reserves needed
  • using best practices to insure strong internal controls over church finances
  • identifying the minimum financial standards every local church should meet

then this Leadership over Lunch has your name on it!

Sheila Ahler, Partner, Cherry Bekaert & Holland, LLP and Academy Faculty member will lead the discussion on accounting issues.
