Members of the new incoming 2012/2013 Leadership Fellows class will be recognized and introduced, and there will be a presentation of the “Roger and Mary Scott Honbarrier Fellowship” award.

Guests will include members of the Academy Board, faculty, and staff, as well as Academy supporters and members of the Bishop's Cabinet.

The Leadership Fellows program is an intensive two-year program in which each clergy Fellow partners with a lay church leader from their respective congregation to form a community of leadership learning. The first year is devoted to studying "Fundamental Competencies of Leadership" while the second year focuses on "Fundamentals of Church Leadership." In addition to studying under a superb faculty, each clergy and lay Fellow is assigned a pastoral and congregational coach. Classes are limited to a maximum of 15 clergy and 15 lay partners.

Annual tuition for each fellow is $500 plus a one-time $100 registration fee. The total financial support underwriting this program comes from the generosity of those who share the vision of investing in the development of effective Christ-centered church servant leaders on behalf of the mission of Christ and the church.
