Entrepreneurial leaders are visionaries, futurists, dreamers, possibility thinkers, leaders who lead with the spiritual confidence of faith. Rudy Rasmus is such a leader. The congregation Rudy leads is one of the most culturally diverse in the country, where every week people of every social and economic background share the same pew. Since 1992, the church’s membership has grown from nine to more than 9,000 including 3,000 homeless or formerly homeless individuals. With its strong social ministries of compassion and unconditional love, St. John’s has broken down the barriers of sexism, classism and transformed the community life of downtown Houston. This passionate spiritual entrepreneur will share his radical, transformational vision and the practical steps St. John’s implemented to make these kingdom dreams realities.
